Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) Information
Effective March 24, 2020, ABAC implemented the following temporary changes to its admissions criteria for Summer 2020 and Fall 2020 only.
The following five bulleted items (for Admissions Criteria) impact Summer 2020 and Fall 2020 (ending December 11, 2020).
For students who have previously submitted ACT or SAT scores that when combined with final calculated high school grade point average, no change occurs.
For students who have not taken ACT or SAT scores, they will be eligible for regular admission with final calculated high school grade point average of 2.25, as presently calculated by ABAC, assuming no other factors that would preclude their admission.
For students who have previously submitted and achieved the freshman index requirement, but failed on a specific section of the ACT/SAT, they will be admitted if their final calculated high school grade point average is 2.25, assuming all other criteria are met.
Any student who does not meet the above requirements may follow the existing process for denial.
Normal admissions procedures will be re-instituted for the Spring 2021 applicants.
