Upland Game Bird Management
Description
This course focuses on the biology and management of northern bobwhite, wild turkey, and ruffed grouse in the southeastern United States. The biology and management of other important upland game birds in the U.S. are examined. Areas of focus include population monitoring, habitat requirements, and habitat management techniques commonly used in forested and agricultural landscapes.
