Contemp Economic Issues
Description
Apply basic concepts of economic decision-making to a discussion and analysis of contemporary economic issues. Includes supply and demand concepts, health care, unemployment, inflation, taxation, monopoly and competition in certain industries, international trade and trade agreements. Discuss and debate controversial and real-world situations requiring the use of economics principles and concepts.
Prerequisite(s): A minimum grade of C in the following courses: ECON 2105 and (ECON 2106 or AECO 2258).
